Every day I am grateful that Justin and I had the opportunity to move to Cedar! We have been so blessed since we have moved here. One the blessing (well if you can call it a blessing) is being so close to places that we can visit and spend time with each other away from work and school. We are so close to Las Vegas and Mesquite and all the excitement that comes with those places. Justin and I had an impromptu trip to Mesquite on Friday. Justin was suppose to work at the hospital all weekend, until he read the wrong week, so we had Friday free! Yay! We went with our friends Nicole and Dustin, had fun in the Casino, spent the night, and enjoyed the buffet!
We arrived about 5:30 and ate dinner at the Buffet. Friday night was their seafood buffet. I despise seafood so I don't like Justin eat it often around me, but I figured I would be nice and let him have his fill. Our friends arrived about 6:30 and we all checked in and started our evening. Dustin found a deal where if we bought a hotel room we got $25 of free slot play. We all got a free $5 just for opening a players card. We didn't spend too much of our money, which is always great :) After walking around the casino trying to figure out where to get our cards, we got our money. Justin and I like the play the slots, a couple dollars at a time. Nicole and Dustin played the tables. Nicole played roulette for the first time :)

At 9 we went to Virgin River and played a round of Bingo. This is something I've always wanted to do since we moved here. I got my first bingo marker and attempted to play 6 boards at once.

Dustin won a round, but he won it with a few other people so his portion wasn't too big. But he still beat us!
Since we were official card carrying members, we got to swipe and spin a spinner and win a prize. Nicole won a cocktail. She decided on a Shirley Temple. I know I know.. So adventitious :)

By the time we got back from bingo it was after 10. Our free play money was finally loaded to the card. Justin and I went around to the different slot machines. We played for about 2 hours and made back almost all of the $25 dollars they gave us :) I was proud of us!
Yeah.... It was getting late by the time we took this!

Realized I had a dollar left on my account that would of disappears by midnight, so I quickly used it up and made 3 bucks.
We all stayed up till midnight so we could spin the wheel again. I got a dollar off at the local coffee shop and Justin won a cocktail. Woot!
It was such a fun weekend! I was so glad to get away and just spend some time with friends and Justin.
