Just some random updates and pictures

So... In the middle of March the lovely company Jiffy Lube killed my Chevy S-10. The person who changed my oil did not put the plug back in properly and the oil slowly leaked out over the next few weeks. Justin took the truck to do inspections up north and the plug totally came out and lost all the oil. Justin had to drive the car a few miles to get into cell phone service to call a tow truck. If the gauges worked on my truck properly then we would have known sooner. Thanks Jiffy Lube... Justin and I wanted to buy a new car anyway, we just had to do it a couple weeks sooner than we wanted to. We bought a brand new 2012 Subaru Impreza from a dealer in St George. We looked at a couple of used cars too and well.. the payments we going to be the same whether we bought a new or a used car so of course we went for the new at it's lovely 2.9% interest rate (vs. 9% for the used). You will see the pictures of it later

Justin and I have also talked about buying a house in 6 months. We are looking to stay in Cedar City or near my school in Enoch. :)

Justin is now working two part time jobs and is loving every minute of it. He works an average of 4-5 days a week between the two jobs. Justin is working at the hospital in the food service. He does a little but of everything. He is also working as a home inspector for insurance companies. He did the same job in California and he was very lucky to get the same type of job in Utah. His area is the lower counties in Utah but he ends up going up north to the smaller towns as well.

The dogs and piggies are all doing great and loving being here in the Cedar :)

Manny.. My handsome boy :)

Buffy and three of her millions of faces

Nutmeg.. my fatty piggy

Coco... my baby :)

Baby!  She's getting so good at laying down with her frozen legs

One of my favorite things about living so high up on the mountain is the fog :) And the new car is nice too!

I love how the mountains just disappear

Evan's wedding!

One of my bestest friends in the whole entire world got married on April 13th. I, of course, had to go up to Salt Lake City and go to his wedding. I met up with my brother Ryan and my Mom and we all went together. We were also invited to a luncheon afterwards. His new wife was beautiful ( I have already met her a million times :D ) and everything was perfect for their special day.

Spring Break

I had spring break a couple weeks ago and my mom, brother, and little sister came down to Cedar to visit with me for the extended weekend. So of course... We had to take a trip to Vegas. Justin couldn't come with us because he was working at the hospital that night. We left Friday and came back Saturday night. We walked up and down the strip, saw the volcano show, and the fountain show a few times. We ate at a buffet and totally pigged out (but it was worth it). We walked all the way up and down the strip and took a bus ride to Fremont St so I could get some Dunkin Donuts. Yay!

Every hotel he has to put in a dollar!
And he had to get a picture by the sign :)

My mom said that this picture couldn't go on facebook.. but she never said anything about my blog :) So I made it nice and big so everyone can see her with "Cotton Candy"

My family was also over for Easter before they had to head back up north. I just made a quick dinner of Dr Pepper Ham, rolls, mashed potatoes, green beans, and of course some Easter cake!

I made the puppies their dinner
Yummy!

Manny dragged his roll all the way over there

I got new Orff Instruments!

My coworker and I finally got new Orff instruments for our classroom. Orff instruments are mini xylophones, marimbas, glockenspiels and metallophones that are stronger and tougher so they last longer with the smaller children. We are finally have instruments that the kids can play with out fear of them breaking it.

All the boxes... Poor UPS man!

There they all are.. so beautiful!

And So It Begins!

When I called the DMV they told Justin and I just to switch our cars and driver's licenses over when ever they expired. Well January was when the truck expired in Idaho so we had to get it switched over. Today was that day, seeing as how it's the end of the month and all! And of course I had to get pictures!
The before shot! Good Bye Idaho!

Off with the front!

And the back.. I know he's an awesome husband!

And it's official. My truck no long belongs to Idaho!

LAS VEGAS!

Justin's parents came up for a few days and we went down for the weekend to Vegas. It was (I think) all of our first time going to the Vegas. All I can say for myself is that I loved every minute of it and I wish I could have spent another day or two seven days there. While we were there we saw Las Vegas Boulevard from the car a few times (not because we got lost or anything -_- ) Justin and I stayed in the Rio and my in laws stayed at the Flamingo. Saturday night we saw the Penn & Teller show. Justin and I have always been huge fans and it was great to see them in person. We sat right on the first row of the second floor balcony and even sitting there we were very close to the stage. We could have patted Teller on the head as he walked by. Justin and I want to go back and see the show again and see a few more things around Vegas.
*Ignore some of the graininess of some of the photos... They were taken from my phone*

There is out beautiful hotel room. We had a great view of the strip!

These two bartenders are "World Famous" I guess... They were really cool though!
(And my amazing photo taking skills... My finger is totally in the picture)

I got my Mardi Graw beads from the Chippendale Dancers. They road fake hot air balloons on tracks on the ceiling and threw the necklaces down.

Our tickets!
There's the stage at the Penn & Teller Theater! Penn and Mike Jones played Jazz (Piano and Bass) for an hour before the show. Man they were amazing! If only I had the skills! They had everyone in the audience come on and sign an envelope and look at a box that was used during the show.

I snagged a picture of Penn while the crowds were being crowdy like. I didn't want to be one of those annoying tourists clamoring for a picture and a autograph. It was awesome that they took the time to wait in the lobby for pictures!
We went shopping at DXL for Justin and I found these swim trunks. I told Justin he should buy these two :)

Yes or No?? hehe It's a giant hooded jean button-up shirt!

DXL is a big and tall store. This show was a size 15.. So I put my hand where my wrist starts at the toe of the shoe. That shoe was HUGE!

The coat was Oscar Green! It was so ugly! What do you think??

FINALLY!!
After 3 years I finally got my Dunkin' Donuts! We went to Henderson to visit my friend Carrie and found a Dunkin' Donuts!

YUMMY!!

Part 2 is coming when I get the rest of the pictures off of my Mother-in-law's camera!
